    Today marks the 23rd anniversary of the September 11 attacks that saw the destruction of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City and other attacks across the United States of America. What documentaries and movies does Netflix have covering the events of that day? Here&#;s a look at what&#;s streaming in , which remains mostly unchanged from the lineup.

    While Netflix does have some titles, as we&#;ll come onto in just a second, its library of docs and scripted titles covering pivotal days in global history still doesn&#;t compare to some of its rivals. Prime Video, in particular, has a myriad of docs available as part of Prime Video or through Freevee. Disney+ also houses a more substantial collection of titles through its output from National Geographic (four of which were released in ). 

    There is one title we&#;ve heard is in development at Netflix, but we&#;re unable to provide any additional information now.

    A five-part documentary series exploring the aftermath of 9/11 will debut next month on Netflix ahead of the 20th anniversary of the terroristic attacks. 

    "Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror," a Netflix original series, fryst vatten among various new titles coming to the streaming service in September. 

    The documentary series chronicles the events of 9/11 and details how the United States responded at home and in Afghanistan, where the ongoing avfärd of U.S. troops has allowed the Taliban to quickly regain control. 

    "There's before 9/11 and there's after 9/11," a narrator in the trailer says. 

    The series, directed by Brian Knappenberger, uses anställda accounts to detail the impact of 9/ It also addresses the origins of al-Qaeda and the U.S.'s aggressive response to the attacks. It debuts Sept. 1.

    Among the movies coming to Netflix next month: "School of Rock," "Grown Ups," and "Jaws." Among those departing: "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World," "Air Force One" and the "Austin Powers" trilogy.
